About the Project
The Crown Jewel Campaign: An Enduring Legacy
Over the past year, The Brown (formerly MOAS) has undertaken a comprehensive master planning process to envision a future that matches the excellence of our collections and the ambitions of our community. With your support, we are making this vision a reality through four core priorities:
1
Construct a Landmark for Cultural Enrichment
We will build a highly visible, iconic new facility for art, culture, and temporary exhibitions. This structure will serve as a beacon for The Brown, attracting visitors from around the region and beyond.
2
Expand Our Reach
Our future campus will serve as a regional hub for learning and discovery, with revitalized gallery spaces, expanded educational offerings, and modern infrastructure to better serve our community.
3
Create a Seamless Visitor Experience
New enhancements will unify the campus and elevate the way guests engage with art, science, and history—making visits more intuitive, accessible, and enriching for all.
4
Step into a Bold New Identity
This transformation will align The Brown's physical presence with its mission, creating a dynamic identity built around innovation, discovery, and connection.
